Non-perturbative investigation of the fermion-Higgs sector of the standard model
Wolfgang Bock, Christoph Frick, Jan Smit, Jeroen C. Vink

TL;DR
This study investigates the limits of the fermion-Higgs sector in the Standard Model using lattice simulations, showing that the couplings cannot reach very strong values with the standard regulator.
Contribution
It provides the first non-perturbative analysis of the fermion-Higgs sector with two SU(2) doublets, focusing on the renormalized couplings.
Findings
Renormalized quartic self-coupling $ m ar{ m ext{lambda}}_R$ is limited.
Renormalized Yukawa coupling $y_R$ cannot become very strong.
Standard lattice regulator constrains the strength of couplings.
Abstract
We present results for the renormalized quartic self-coupling and the renormalized Yukawa coupling in a fermion-Higgs model with two SU(2) doublets, indicating that with the standard lattice regulator these couplings cannot become very strong.
