Claudio Parrinello

TL;DR
This paper reports preliminary lattice QCD results on gluon 2- and 3-point correlation functions, aiming to study the running coupling constant via the amputated 3-gluon vertex, contributing to non-perturbative QCD analysis.
Contribution
It introduces a lattice evaluation of gluon correlation functions focusing on the amputated 3-gluon vertex to explore the QCD coupling constant.
Findings
Initial results on gluon correlation functions in momentum space
Insights into the behavior of the 3-gluon vertex
Foundation for future non-perturbative QCD studies
Abstract
I present some preliminary results, obtained in collaboration with C. Bernard and A. Soni, for the lattice evaluation of 2- and 3-point gluon correlation functions in momentum space, with emphasis on the amputated 3-gluon vertex function. The final goal of this approach is the study of the running QCD coupling constant as defined from the amputated 3-gluon vertex.
