On the Phase Structure of the Schwinger Model with Wilson Fermions
H. Gausterer, C.B. Lang

TL;DR
This paper investigates the phase structure of the lattice Schwinger model with Wilson fermions using finite size scaling of partition function zeroes, revealing potential discrepancies at zero coupling with other methods.
Contribution
It introduces a finite size scaling approach to analyze the phase structure of the lattice Schwinger model with Wilson fermions, highlighting possible differences at zero coupling.
Findings
Finite size scaling of partition function zeroes reveals phase structure.
Potential discrepancy at zero coupling with previous methods.
Provides insights into the phase behavior of the lattice Schwinger model.
Abstract
We study the phase structure of the massive one flavour lattice Schwinger model on the basis of the finite size scaling behaviour of the partition function zeroes. At we observe and discuss a possible discrepancy with results obtained by a different method.
