B. Alles, M. Campostrini, A. Feo, and H. Panagopoulos

TL;DR
This paper computes the three-loop lattice free energy for SU(N) gauge theories, enhancing the precision of gluonic condensate estimates by combining analytical results with Monte Carlo data.
Contribution
It provides a novel three-loop calculation of the lattice free energy for SU(N) gauge theories, improving the accuracy of gluonic condensate estimations.
Findings
More precise gluonic condensate estimate achieved.
Three-loop lattice free energy calculated.
Enhanced agreement with Monte Carlo data.
Abstract
We calculate the free energy of SU(N) gauge theories on the lattice, to three loops. Our result, combined with Monte Carlo data for the average plaquette, gives a more precise estimate of the gluonic condensate.
