TL;DR
This paper investigates the universality classes of coloured polymers, showing that non-oriented coloured polymers share the same universality class as ordinary self-avoiding walks, whereas oriented coloured polymers do not.
Contribution
It establishes the universality class equivalence for non-oriented coloured polymers and highlights the difference for oriented coloured polymers.
Findings
Non-oriented coloured polymers are in the same universality class as ordinary self-avoiding walks.
Oriented coloured polymers are not in the same universality class as ordinary self-avoiding walks.
Abstract
We show that non-oriented coloured polymers (self--avoiding walks with different types of links) are in the same universality class of the ordinary self--avoiding walks, while the oriented coloured are not.
