Noncompact Lattice Simulations of SU(2) Gauge Theory
Kevin Cahill

TL;DR
This paper reports on noncompact lattice simulations of pure SU(2) gauge theory at strong coupling, measuring Wilson loops and finding no evidence of quark confinement.
Contribution
It provides the first noncompact lattice measurements of Wilson loops in SU(2) gauge theory at strong coupling without gauge fixing.
Findings
Wilson loops measured at $eta=0.5$ show no confinement signals
Simulations performed on a $12^4$ lattice at strong coupling
Results suggest absence of quark confinement in this regime
Abstract
Wilson loops have been measured at strong coupling, , on a lattice in noncompact simulations of pure SU(2) without gauge fixing. There is no sign of quark confinement.
