TL;DR
This paper provides numerical evidence that strongly coupled 2D Yukawa models share phase structure and asymptotic freedom properties with Gross-Neveu models, suggesting a deeper theoretical connection.
Contribution
It demonstrates, through numerical analysis, that 2D Yukawa models with strong self-coupling exhibit similar phase behavior and asymptotic freedom as Gross-Neveu models, highlighting their equivalence.
Findings
Similar phase structure between Yukawa and Gross-Neveu models
Evidence of asymptotic freedom in Yukawa models
Numerical confirmation of theoretical predictions
Abstract
We present numerical evidence that the 2d Yukawa models with strong quartic selfcoupling of the scalar field have the same phase structure and are asymptotically free in the Yukawa coupling like the Gross-Neveu models.
