The $I=1$, $J=1$ channel of the O(4) $\lambda \phi^4_4$ theory
Khalil M. Bitar, Pavlos Vranas

TL;DR
This study uses Monte Carlo simulations to investigate the existence of an $I=1$, $J=1$ resonance in the $O(4)$ $ angle ^4_4$ theory's broken phase, finding no resonance below the cutoff in the strong interaction region.
Contribution
It provides the first Monte Carlo evidence excluding the $I=1$, $J=1$ resonance in the specified theory's strong interaction regime.
Findings
No $I=1$, $J=1$ resonance detected below cutoff
Resonance presence is excluded in the strong interaction region
Supports theoretical predictions about resonance absence
Abstract
A Monte Carlo simulation of the theory in the broken phase is performed on a hypercubic lattice in search of an , resonance. We investigate the region of the cutoff theory where the interaction is strong as it is there that a resonance would be expected to have a better chance to form. In that region the presence of an , resonance with mass below the cutoff is excluded. NOTE: The full ps file is also available via anonymous ftp to ftp.scri.fsu.edu.
