A Method for Simulating Chiral Fermions on the Lattice
D.B. Kaplan

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel lattice simulation method for chiral gauge theories that effectively handles zero modes, decouples doublers gauge-invariantly, and allows direct observation of flavor anomalies on finite lattices.
Contribution
It proposes a new approach to simulate chiral fermions on the lattice using topological defects, improving gauge invariance and anomaly detection.
Findings
Decouples lattice doublers gauge-invariantly
Enables direct observation of flavor anomalies
Uses zeromodes on topological defects
Abstract
A method for simulating chiral gauge theories on the lattice is proposed, involving zeromodes on a topological defect. Lattice doublers may be decoupled in a gauge invariant manner, and flavor anomalies can be directly observed on a finite lattice. (Requires harvmac)
