TL;DR
This paper investigates pseudoscalar and vector meson form factors using lattice QCD with FLIC action, revealing a non-spherical shape of the rho meson through a negative quadrupole moment.
Contribution
It introduces lattice QCD calculations of meson form factors with the FLIC action, highlighting the rho meson's non-spherical structure.
Findings
Determined pseudoscalar and vector meson form factors.
Found a negative quadrupole moment for the rho meson.
Indicated the rho meson is not spherically symmetric.
Abstract
We present a study of the pseudoscalar and vector meson form factors, calculated using the Fat-Link Irrelevant Clover (FLIC) action in the framework of Quenched Lattice QCD. Of particular interest is the determination of a negative quadrupole moment, indicating that the meson is not spherically symmetric.
