S. Datta, A. Jakovac, F. Karsch, P. Petreczky

TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of quarkonium states, specifically charmonium and bottomonium, in a deconfined gluonic plasma using lattice QCD results, revealing significant modifications at high temperatures.
Contribution
It provides new lattice QCD results on the properties of quarkonium states at finite momentum and high temperatures, including preliminary findings on bottomonium.
Findings
Charmonium states are modified in the plasma.
Significant changes observed in chi_b states at 1.5 Tc.
Preliminary bottomonium spectral functions indicate notable medium effects.
Abstract
We discuss lattice results on the properties of finite momentum charmonium states in a gluonic plasma. We also present preliminary results for bottomonium correlators and spectral functions in the plasma. Significant modifications of chi_b states are seen at temperatures of 1.5 Tc.
