TL;DR
This paper computes the one-loop renormalization of fermionic bilinears related to parton distribution functions using improved lattice actions, specifically the overlap fermion action and Luescher-Weisz gluon action.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed calculation of renormalization factors for these operators with overlap and LW actions, including parameter dependence.
Findings
Renormalization factors as functions of rho and LW parameters
Results applicable to lattice QCD calculations of PDFs
Enhanced understanding of operator mixing and renormalization
Abstract
We calculate the 1-loop renormalization of a set of extended fermionic bilinears which form a basis corresponding to moments of the parton distribution functions. We use the overlap action for fermions and Luescher-Weisz (LW) action for gluons. Our results are presented as a function of the overlap parameter rho and the parameters entering the LW action.
