Hovhannes R. Grigoryan, Anthony W. Thomas

TL;DR
This paper derives a formula for the vector meson mass in a mixed lattice QCD setup with staggered sea and Ginsparg-Wilson valence quarks, up to order O(a^2), at one-loop level.
Contribution
It provides a novel chiral-continuum extrapolation expression for vector meson masses without constructing a heavy vector meson chiral Lagrangian.
Findings
Derived the vector meson mass formula up to O(a^2)
Performed one-loop level calculations in mixed chiral perturbation theory
Facilitated lattice QCD data analysis for vector mesons
Abstract
We consider partially quenched, mixed chiral perturbation theory with staggered sea and Ginsparg-Wilson valence quarks in order to extract a chiral-continuum extrapolation expression for the vector meson mass up to order O(a^2), at one-loop level. Based on general principles, we accomplish the task without explicitly constructing a sophisticated, heavy vector meson chiral Lagrangian.
