TL;DR
This paper reports recent lattice QCD calculations of key quantities like form factors, decay constants, and meson masses, which have been confirmed by experimental results, advancing understanding in particle physics.
Contribution
It presents new lattice QCD calculations of three important quantities, providing data that was previously unknown or poorly known, and confirms these with experimental validation.
Findings
Calculated $q^2$ dependence of form factor in $D o Kl u$ decay
Determined decay constant of the $D$ meson
Estimated mass of the $B_c$ meson
Abstract
In the past year, we calculated with lattice QCD three quantities that were unknown or poorly known. They are the dependence of the form factor in semileptonic decay, the decay constant of the meson, and the mass of the meson. In this talk, we summarize these calculations, with emphasis on their (subsequent) confirmation by experiments.
