Contribution
This paper reviews current progress, techniques, and status of lattice QCD in studying nuclei and nuclear phenomena.
Findings
Lattice QCD is increasingly capable of impacting nuclear physics understanding.
Current techniques are enabling new explorations of nuclear processes.
Numerical explorations are progressing towards more comprehensive insights.
Abstract
Lattice QCD is progressing toward being able to impact our understanding of nuclei and nuclear processes. I discuss areas of nuclear physics that are becoming possible to explore with lattice QCD, the techniques that are currently available and the status of numerical explorations.
