A. Athenodorou, H. Panagopoulos (Dept. of Physics, University of, Cyprus, Nicosia)

TL;DR
This paper calculates two-loop fermionic contributions to Wilson loops using overlap and clover fermions, providing insights into the b-quark mass shift and static potential in quantum chromodynamics.
Contribution
It presents a two-loop perturbative evaluation of Wilson loops with overlap and clover fermions, including the b-quark mass shift and static potential, comparing different fermionic actions.
Findings
Two-loop fermionic contributions computed for various R and T.
Results yield the b-quark mass shift in the large R, T limit.
Perturbative static potential evaluated as T approaches infinity.
Abstract
We compute, to two loops in pertubation theory, the fermionic contribution to rectangular RxT Wilson loops, for different values of R and T. We use the overlap fermionic action. We also employ the clover action, for comparison with existing results in the literature. In the limit R, T -> Infinity our results lead to the shift in the b-quark mass. We also evaluate the perturbative static potential as T -> Infinity.
