Running coupling of 2-flavor QCD at zero and finite temperature
Olaf Kaczmarek, Felix Zantow

TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of the running coupling in 2-flavor QCD at both zero and finite temperatures using lattice simulations, providing insights into the strong interaction dynamics under different thermal conditions.
Contribution
It introduces lattice methods to measure the running coupling at zero and finite temperatures in 2-flavor QCD, expanding understanding of temperature-dependent strong interactions.
Findings
Running coupling measured at T=0 from Wilson loops.
Finite temperature coupling derived from Polyakov loop correlations.
Results shed light on temperature effects on QCD interactions.
Abstract
We present lattice studies of the running coupling in 2-flavor QCD. The coupling at zero temperature (T=0) is extracted from Wilson loops while the coupling at finite temperature () is determined from Polyakov loop correlation functions.
