Thermal Phase Transition in the NJL Model of QCD
C.G. Strouthos

TL;DR
This paper investigates the chiral phase transition in the NJL model of QCD at finite temperature, demonstrating it belongs to the 3d O(4) universality class through numerical analysis.
Contribution
It provides numerical evidence that the NJL model exhibits a second order chiral phase transition in the 3d O(4) universality class.
Findings
Second order chiral phase transition identified
Transition belongs to 3d O(4) universality class
Numerical results support universality class assignment
Abstract
We present results from numerical studies of the NJL model with two massless quarks at nonzero temperature. We show that the model undergoes a second order chiral phase transition which belongs to the 3d O(4) spin model universality class.
