TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel simulation approach for finite density systems, demonstrating its effectiveness in the Gross-Neveu model and providing initial results for QCD with four flavors, expanding the tools for high-density physics research.
Contribution
The paper presents a new simulation method for non-zero chemical potential, tested in the Gross-Neveu model and preliminarily applied to Nf=4 QCD, offering an alternative to existing techniques.
Findings
Successful reconstruction of the critical line in the Gross-Neveu model at large μ/T
Comparison shows the new method aligns with standard imaginary chemical potential results
Initial results indicate potential for studying finite density QCD
Abstract
A new approach for non zero chemical potential simulations is tested in the Gross-Neveu model for infinite flavor number, where the critical line is reconstructed in a large interval. A comparison with results from standard imaginary chemical potential approach as well as first results for QCD are presented.
