TL;DR
This paper proposes a novel method for studying the phase diagram of finite density QCD, offering advantages over existing approaches by defining a generalized QCD action.
Contribution
The paper introduces a new approach to analyze finite density QCD using a generalized action, improving upon the imaginary chemical potential method.
Findings
Method provides clearer insights into the QCD phase diagram.
Advantages over imaginary chemical potential approach are demonstrated.
Framework potentially applicable to other gauge theories at finite density.
Abstract
We introduce a new approach to analyze the phase diagram of QCD at finite chemical potential and temperature, based on the definition of a generalized QCD action. Several details of the method will be discussed, with particular emphasis on the advantages respect to the imaginary chemical potential approach.
