Chiral perturbation theory for lattice QCD with a twisted mass term
Gernot M\"unster, Christian Schmidt (University of Muenster)

TL;DR
This paper develops a chiral perturbation theory framework for lattice QCD with Wilson fermions and a twisted mass term, calculating pion properties at next-to-leading order including lattice spacing effects.
Contribution
It introduces a novel chiral perturbation theory approach tailored for twisted mass lattice QCD, incorporating lattice artifacts into pion observable calculations.
Findings
Pion mass calculated at next-to-leading order with lattice spacing corrections.
Pion decay constant derived including linear lattice spacing terms.
Framework enables more accurate lattice QCD predictions with twisted mass.
Abstract
Quantum Chromodynamics on a lattice with Wilson fermions and a chirally twisted mass term for two degenerate quark flavours is considered in the framework of chiral perturbation theory. The pion mass and decay constant are calculated in next-to-leading order including terms linear in the lattice spacing .
