TL;DR
This paper investigates the structure and relationship of P-vortices and monopoles in SU(2) lattice gauge theory, revealing a large percolating cluster and their interrelation across different projection methods.
Contribution
It demonstrates the formation of a large percolating P-vortex cluster and explores the connection between monopole and P-vortex clusters using multiple projection techniques.
Findings
P-vortices form a large infrared cluster and smaller ultraviolet clusters.
Monopole and P-vortex clusters are interrelated in the confinement phase.
Results are consistent across direct and indirect projection methods.
Abstract
We show that P-Vortices in the confinement phase of SU(2) lattice gauge theory form one large percolating (infrared) cluster and a number of small (ultraviolet) clusters. We discuss the interrelation of clusters of monopoles in the maximal Abelian projection with clusters of P-vortices. To extract P-vortices we use both direct and indirect central projections and find qualitatively similar results.
