TL;DR
This paper investigates how nucleon properties like magnetic moments and axial-vector coupling depend on quark mass, assessing chiral effective field theory for extrapolating lattice QCD data from high to physical pion masses.
Contribution
It evaluates the effectiveness of chiral effective field theory methods in extrapolating lattice QCD results for nucleon properties at larger pion masses to physical values.
Findings
Chiral effective field theory can be used for extrapolation.
Feasibility of chiral extrapolation for nucleon properties.
Insights into quark mass dependence of nucleon observables.
Abstract
We report on recent work about the study of quark mass dependence of nucleon magnetic moments and axial-vector coupling constant. We examine the feasibility of chiral effective field theory methods for the extrapolation of lattice QCD data obtained at relative large pion masses down to the physical values.
