Numerical simulation with light Wilson-quarks
I. Montvay

TL;DR
This paper estimates the computational cost of simulating QCD with light Wilson-quarks by analyzing autocorrelation times and observes expected behaviors of pion mass and coupling at small quark masses.
Contribution
It provides an estimation method for simulation costs and confirms qualitative behaviors of physical quantities at small quark masses.
Findings
Autocorrelation analysis of simulation data.
Observation of pion mass behavior at small quark masses.
Estimation of computational costs for light Wilson-quark simulations.
Abstract
The computational cost of numerical simulations of QCD with light dynamical Wilson-quarks is estimated by determining the autocorrelation of various quantities. In test runs the expected qualitative behaviour of the pion mass and coupling at small quark masses is observed.
