Dual Abrikosov vortex between confined charges
Srinath Cheluvaraja, Richard W. Haymaker, Takayuki Matsuki

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the dual Abrikosov vortex in Abelian projected SU(2) gauge theory remains unaffected by the removal of small monopole loops, indicating the robustness of the London penetration depth.
Contribution
It reveals that the large monopole cluster determines the vortex properties, independent of short monopole loops, advancing understanding of confinement mechanisms.
Findings
The dual Abrikosov vortex is insensitive to truncation of small monopole loops.
The London penetration depth remains invariant under loop truncation.
Discrepancies decrease with increasing transverse distance.
Abstract
We show that the dual Abrikosov vortex between quark and antiquark in Abelian Projected SU(2) gauge theory is insensitive to truncation of all loops except the large monopole cluster noted by Hart and Teper. As the transverse distance increases, the discrepancy decreases, suggesting that the London penetration depth determined by the tail is invariant under the truncation of short loops.
