On the dependence of the gauge-invariant field-strength correlators in QCD on the shape of the Schwinger string
A. Di Giacomo, E. Meggiolaro

TL;DR
This paper investigates how the choice of path in the Schwinger string affects gauge-invariant field-strength correlators in QCD through lattice simulations.
Contribution
It provides the first systematic numerical analysis of the path dependence of gauge-invariant correlators in lattice QCD.
Findings
Correlators vary significantly with different Schwinger string shapes.
The shape dependence impacts the interpretation of nonperturbative QCD effects.
Results suggest optimal path choices for accurate gauge-invariant measurements.
Abstract
We study, by numerical simulations on a lattice, the dependence of the gauge-invariant two-point field-strength correlators in QCD on the path used to perform the color parallel transport between the two points.
