Generalized ensemble algorithm for U(1) gauge theory
Tetsuya Takaishi

TL;DR
This paper introduces a generalized ensemble algorithm using Tsallis weight for U(1) gauge theory, improving tunneling between metastable states in Hybrid Monte Carlo simulations.
Contribution
It presents a novel generalized ensemble method employing Tsallis weight to enhance simulation efficiency in U(1) gauge theory.
Findings
Increased tunneling rate between metastable states
Effective application of Tsallis weight in gauge theory simulations
Potential for improved sampling in lattice gauge theories
Abstract
Hybrid Monte Carlo simulations of the pure compact U(1) gauge theory are performed with the Tsallis weight. The simulations show that the use of the Tsallis weight enhances the tunneling rate between metastable states.
