The Microscopic Dirac Operator Spectrum
P.H. Damgaard

TL;DR
This paper reviews exact results for microscopic Dirac operator spectra using Random Matrix Theory and chiral Lagrangians, highlighting their implications for lattice quantum chromodynamics calculations.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive review of the microscopic Dirac spectrum results derived from theoretical frameworks and discusses their relevance for lattice computations.
Findings
Exact spectral results from Random Matrix Theory and chiral Lagrangians.
Implications for improving lattice QCD calculations.
Bridging theoretical predictions with numerical lattice data.
Abstract
We review the exact results for microscopic Dirac operator spectra based on either Random Matrix Theory, or, equivalently, chiral Lagrangians. Implications for lattice calculations are discussed.
