TL;DR
This paper investigates the quenched chiral behavior of hadrons using overlap fermions on a lattice, identifying quenched chiral logs, renormalized quark masses, and artifacts in specific propagators at low pseudoscalar masses.
Contribution
It provides new insights into quenched chiral logs and artifacts in hadron propagators using overlap fermions on a large lattice with improved gauge action.
Findings
Observation of quenched chiral logs in pion mass
Determination of renormalized quark mass
Identification of quenched artifacts in $a_0$ and $N^*$ propagators
Abstract
We study the quenched chiral behavior of hadrons with the pseudoscalar mass as low as MeV. We look for quenched chiral logs in the pion mass, determine the renormalized quark mass, and observe quenched artifacts in the and propagators. The calculation is done on a quenched lattice of size and fm using overlap fermions and an improved gauge action.
