The flavour singlet mesons in QCD
UKQCD Collaboration: C. McNeile, C. Michael, K. J. Sharkey

TL;DR
This paper investigates the properties of flavour singlet mesons in QCD using lattice simulations, focusing on mass splittings among different meson types.
Contribution
It provides a first-principles lattice QCD analysis of flavour singlet mesons, including vector, axial, scalar, and pseudoscalar channels, highlighting mass differences.
Findings
Measured mass splittings between singlet and non-singlet mesons
Analyzed vector and axial meson channels
Studied scalar and pseudoscalar meson properties
Abstract
We study the flavour singlet mesons from first principles using lattice QCD. We explore the splitting between flavour singlet and non-singlet for vector and axial mesons as well as the more commonly studied cases of the scalar and pseudoscalar mesons.
