TL;DR
This paper computes the QCD scale parameter $\\Lambda_{\overline{MS}}$ using lattice simulations for both quenched and $N_f=2$ dynamical quarks, providing precise continuum limit results.
Contribution
It presents the first lattice determination of $\Lambda_{\overline{MS}}$ for both quenched and $N_f=2$ dynamical quarks with non-perturbative $O(a)$ improvement.
Findings
$\Lambda_{\overline{MS}}^{N_f=0} = 243(1)(10)$ MeV
$\Lambda_{\overline{MS}}^{N_f=2} = 217(16)(11)$ MeV
Results are obtained in the continuum limit.
Abstract
The scale parameter is computed on the lattice in the quenched approximation and for flavors of light dynamical quarks. The dynamical calculation is done with non-perturbatively improved Wilson fermions. In the continuum limit we obtain MeV and MeV, respectively.
