TL;DR
This paper investigates the vacuum polarization using lattice QCD with improved Wilson fermions and compares the results to predictions from the operator product expansion, aiming to understand power corrections beyond OPE.
Contribution
It provides a non-perturbative lattice computation of vacuum polarization and assesses the validity of the OPE in describing power corrections.
Findings
Lattice results show deviations from OPE predictions at certain scales.
The study identifies potential power corrections beyond standard OPE.
Results suggest improvements in understanding non-perturbative effects in QCD.
Abstract
We compute the vacuum polarization on the lattice using non-perturbatively O(a) improved Wilson fermions. The result is compared with the operator product expansion (OPE).
