T. Blum (RBC Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports a lattice QCD calculation of $K o ext{pion}$ and related matrix elements using domain wall fermions, providing insights into kaon decays and CP violation within the Standard Model.
Contribution
It introduces a lattice computation of $K o ext{pion}$ matrix elements with domain wall fermions, enabling more accurate determination of decay parameters.
Findings
Calculated $K o ext{pion}$ matrix elements relevant for $ ext{CP}$ violation.
Provided lattice estimates for the kaon $B$ parameter, $B_K$.
Used quenched approximation at $eta=6.0$ with specific lattice parameters.
Abstract
We present a lattice calculation of the and matrix elements of the effective weak Hamiltonian which can be used to determine and the rule for decays in the Standard Model. The matrix elements for decays are related to and using lowest order chiral perturbation theory. We also present results for the kaon parameter, . Our quenched domain wall fermion simulation was done at ( GeV), lattice size , and domain wall height .
