TL;DR
This study investigates how meson masses respond to changes in chemical potential at high temperature using lattice QCD, revealing phase-dependent behavior of the mass response.
Contribution
It provides the first lattice QCD results on the chemical potential response of meson masses across confinement and deconfinement phases.
Findings
Negative mass response in confinement phase
Positive mass response in deconfinement phase
Preliminary lattice results for mesons with different quark compositions
Abstract
We study the response of meson masses to the chemical potential () at high temperature and at zero chemical potential on lattice with staggered fermions. Preliminary results for the meson composed of different quarks show that is negative in the confinement phase and positive in the deconfinement phase.
