Charmonium in finite temperature lattice QCD
T. Umeda, R. Katayama, H. Matsufuru, O. Miyamura

TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of charmonium states, like J/ψ mesons, near the deconfining transition in finite temperature lattice QCD, analyzing correlators and wave functions to understand bound state survival.
Contribution
It provides a comparative analysis of meson correlators above and below the critical temperature, offering insights into the existence of c-cbar bound states at finite temperature.
Findings
Charmonium correlators change across the transition.
Wave function analysis suggests possible bound state persistence.
Results contribute to understanding quarkonium behavior in quark-gluon plasma.
Abstract
We study hadron properties near the deconfining transition in the finite temperature lattice QCD. This paper focus on the heavy quarkonium states, such as meson. We compare the meson correlators above and below and discuss the possibility of the bound state by observing the wave function.
