TL;DR
This paper introduces a scale-controlled smoothing method to analyze QCD topology, focusing on invariant observables that reduce uncertainties in instanton ensemble characterization.
Contribution
It presents a novel scale-controlled cooling technique and identifies observables that are independent of microscopic instanton details.
Findings
Reduced uncertainties in topological structure analysis
Development of scale-invariant observables
Enhanced robustness of instanton ensemble characterization
Abstract
We aim at reducing the uncertainties inherent in the analysis of the topological structure by using scale controlled smoothing and observables independent on the "microscopic" description of the instanton ensemble.
