Tests of Perturbative QCD and Jet Physics
John Womersley

TL;DR
This paper reviews current experimental tests of perturbative QCD across various collider experiments, discussing measurements of fundamental parameters and outlining future research directions.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of perturbative QCD tests and summarizes recent experimental results from multiple collider experiments.
Findings
Measurements of the strong coupling constant are consistent with theoretical predictions.
Jet and photon production data support perturbative QCD calculations.
Identifies key areas for future experimental and theoretical work.
Abstract
I describe the current status of tests of perturbative QCD, using measurements of jet, photon, weak boson and heavy flavor production from the Tevatron, LEP and HERA. Measurements of the strong coupling constant are described, and I conclude with a "wish list" for the future.
