J. Z. Bai, et al. (BES Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper performs a detailed partial wave analysis of $J/ar{J}$ decays into four pions, identifying multiple resonances with specific quantum numbers and decay modes, enhancing understanding of meson spectroscopy.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive partial wave analysis of $J/ar{J}$ decay data, identifying several resonances and their decay channels, which was not previously detailed.
Findings
Identified multiple $J^{PC}$ resonances at various masses.
Determined dominant decay modes for each resonance.
Provided detailed resonance parameters and decay patterns.
Abstract
BES data on have been analyzed into partial waves. We fit with resonances having at 1275 MeV, at 1500 MeV, at 1565 MeV, at 1740 MeV, at 1940 MeV and at 2104 MeV, plus a broad component. The resonances decay dominantly to , while resonances in the high mass region decay mainly to and ; resonances from the low mass region decay dominantly to .
