Status of gamma-gamma, gamma-electron colliders
Valery Telnov (Institute of Nuclear Physics, Novosibirsk)

TL;DR
This paper reviews the current status of gamma-gamma and gamma-electron colliders, focusing on physics motivation, technical feasibility, and proposing a new laser optics scheme to reduce costs.
Contribution
It introduces a novel laser optics scheme at the interaction region that significantly lowers the laser system costs for photon colliders.
Findings
Proposed a new laser optics scheme reducing laser system costs by at least an order of magnitude.
Reviewed the physics motivation and technical parameters of photon colliders.
Discussed plans for international cooperation and future work.
Abstract
This report on Photon Colliders briefly reviews three main issues: physics motivation, possible parameters and technical feasibility, plans of works and international cooperation. New scheme of laser optics at the interaction region is described which can drastically (at least by one order) reduce the cost of the laser system.
