MiniBooNE: the Booster Neutrino Experiment
Andrew O. Bazarko

TL;DR
The MiniBooNE experiment at Fermilab aims to investigate neutrino oscillations, specifically muon to electron neutrino transitions, to confirm or refute previous evidence from LSND.
Contribution
This paper presents the design and experimental prospects of MiniBooNE to test neutrino oscillation signals reported by LSND.
Findings
Preparation for neutrino oscillation search underway
Comparison with LSND and KARMEN results outlined
Experiment aims to provide conclusive evidence
Abstract
The Booster Neutrino Experiment at Fermilab is preparing to search for muon to electron neutrino oscillations. The experiment is designed to make a conclusive statement about LSND's neutrino oscillation evidence. The experimental prospects are outlined in light of the current results from LSND and KARMEN.
