Heavy Flavours in Photoproduction at HERA
Mark Hayes (on behalf of the ZEUS, H1 Collaborations)

TL;DR
This paper presents measurements of dijet photoproduction with a tagged D* meson and compares open beauty cross sections to leading-order Monte Carlo predictions, providing insights into photon structure and heavy flavor production.
Contribution
It provides new differential cross section data for dijet photoproduction with heavy flavor tagging and compares open beauty production to theoretical models.
Findings
Measured differential cross sections for dijet photoproduction with D* mesons.
Compared open beauty cross sections to LO Monte Carlo predictions.
Results enhance understanding of heavy flavor production in photon-induced processes.
Abstract
Differential cross sections, , for dijet photoproduction events with a tagged meson are presented, where is the fraction of the photon energy contributing to the two highest transverse energy jets. Results on open beauty cross sections (from semileptonic decays) compared to LO Monte Carlo predictions are also presented.
