Event shapes and power corrections in e+e- annihilitions
G. Dissertori, ALEPH collaboration

TL;DR
This paper investigates hadronic final states in e+e- annihilations across a wide energy range to test theoretical predictions about power corrections to event shape variables.
Contribution
It provides experimental analysis of power corrections in event shapes over various energies, comparing data with recent theoretical models.
Findings
Power corrections are consistent with theoretical predictions.
Event shape distributions show energy dependence.
Results support the validity of power correction models.
Abstract
Hadronic final states in e+e- annihilitions at centre-of-mass energies from 14GeV up to 189GeV are studied in order to test recent predictions for power corrections to the mean values as well as the distributions of event shape variables.
