Photon Structure and the Hadronic Final State in Photoproduction Processes at ZEUS
Matthew Wing

TL;DR
This paper reports on ZEUS experiments at HERA that investigate photon structure and test perturbative QCD through dijet and multijet production measurements involving quasi-real and virtual photons.
Contribution
It provides new measurements of dijet and multijet production, including those with $D^{*\pm}$ mesons, and compares them to NLO calculations, enhancing understanding of photon structure.
Findings
Measurements agree with NLO calculations
Photon structure insights improved
Dijet production with $D^{*\pm}$ mesons characterized
Abstract
Advances in knowledge of the structure of the photon and tests of perturbative QCD have been made using the increased luminosity with the ZEUS detector at HERA. Events with a low photon virtuality and two high transverse energy jets have been studied. Measurements of inclusive dijet and multijet production are herein compared to Next-to-Leading-Order calculations. In order to analyse the structure of the photon, dijet production of quasi-real and virtual photons and dijet production containing mesons were measured.
