TL;DR
This study investigates how the production of neutral strange particles varies with different target nuclei in antiproton collisions at 40 GeV/c, providing insights into particle yields and nuclear interactions.
Contribution
It presents experimental measurements of strange particle yields across various nuclei and compares them with model predictions, enhancing understanding of particle production mechanisms.
Findings
Yields of $K^0$, $\Lambda$, and $ar\Lambda$ depend on target nucleus mass.
Experimental results show agreement/discrepancies with FRITIOF-7.02 predictions.
Data contribute to modeling particle production in nuclear collisions.
Abstract
The interactions of with D(2), Li(7), C(12), S(32), Cu(64) and Pb(207) nuclei at were studied by RISC-streamer chamber spectrometer. The yields of mesons and and hyperons as functions of the target nucleus mass numbers are investigated. The experimental results are compared with model predictions using program package.
