J.A. Crittenden (Physikalisches Institut der Universitaet Bonn) (for, the ZEUS Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports recent experimental results on diffractive vector meson production at HERA using the ZEUS detector, covering various mesons, photon virtualities, and momentum transfers to deepen understanding of diffractive processes.
Contribution
It provides new measurements of rho, phi, and J/psi production across different Q^2 and |t| ranges, expanding the experimental data on diffractive vector meson production.
Findings
Measured rho production at low Q^2
Observed elastic J/psi production in photoproduction and higher Q^2
Extended data on meson production over a range of momentum transfers
Abstract
We present results from recent investigations of diffractive vector meson production using the ZEUS detector at HERA. These consist of measurements of rho production in the region of photon virtuality 0.25 < Q^2 < 0.85 GeV^2, of rho, phi, and J/psi production for values of the momentum transfer to the proton 0.3 < |t| < 4.0 GeV^2, and of elastic J/psi production both in photoproduction and for Q^2 > 2 GeV^2.
