Untersuchungen zur Jet-Parton-Korrelation in der tief-inelastischen Streuung
Thomas Hadig

TL;DR
This paper investigates jet-parton correlations in deep-inelastic scattering to improve measurements of the strong coupling constant and gluon density, analyzing effects of different jet algorithms and cut scenarios.
Contribution
It provides a detailed study of jet-parton correlations under various conditions, aiding precise determinations of QCD parameters in DIS.
Findings
Jet-parton correlations vary with jet algorithms and cuts.
Migration effects impact alpha_s and g(xi,Q^2) measurements.
Results inform optimal analysis strategies for DIS experiments.
Abstract
The jet parton correlation has been studied for different cut scenarios and various jet algorithms. These migrations are getting important for measuring the strong coupling constant alpha_s and the NLO gluon density g(xi,Q^2) from jet rates in DIS at HERA.
