TL;DR
This paper reports on deep inelastic scattering experiments at HERA, focusing on measuring structure functions, extracting parton densities, determining the strong coupling, and exploring new QCD phenomena in a novel kinematic regime.
Contribution
It provides new experimental data on proton structure and QCD effects at high energies, expanding understanding of parton distributions and strong interactions.
Findings
Parton densities were extracted with high precision.
Measurements of the strong coupling constant were performed.
Evidence for novel QCD effects was observed in the new kinematic regime.
Abstract
Measurements of structure functions and of the hadronic final state in deep inelastic scattering at HERA are presented. The results comprise the extraction of parton densities, measurements of the strong coupling, and the search for novel QCD effects in the new kinematic regime at HERA.
