New Observations of Top at CDF
Sandra Leone (for the CDF Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper presents preliminary results from searches for top quark candidates in all-hadronic and tau dilepton channels using data from the CDF experiment at Fermilab, aiming to identify top quark production signatures.
Contribution
It reports new observations and analysis results for top quark candidate events in specific decay channels with a 110 pb^{-1} data sample.
Findings
Initial evidence of top candidate events in the analyzed channels.
No definitive discovery but promising signals in the data.
Methodology for identifying top events in complex final states.
Abstract
We report preliminary results from the analyses looking for top candidates in the channel with 6 jets in the final state (all hadronic) and in the dilepton channel with one tau lepton (tau dilepton), using a data sample of 110 pb^{-1} collected by the CDF experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider.
