S. Aid, et al. (H1 Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of elastic electroproduction cross sections of $ ho^0$ and $J/\Psi$ mesons at high $Q^2$ at HERA, analyzing their dependence on various kinematic variables and comparing with theoretical models.
Contribution
It provides new experimental data on vector meson electroproduction at large $Q^2$, including cross section ratios and dependencies, informing models of hard and soft QCD processes.
Findings
Measured cross sections for $ ho^0$ and $J/\Psi$ at $Q^2 > 8$ GeV$^2$
Determined the $J/\Psi$ to $ ho^0$ cross section ratio
Analyzed dependencies on $Q^2$, $W$, $t$, and decay angles
Abstract
The total cross sections for the elastic electroproduction of and mesons for 8 GeV and GeV/c are measured at HERA with the H1 detector. The measurements are for an integrated electronproton luminosity of ~3~pb. The dependences of the total virtual photonproton () cross sections on , and the momentum transfer squared to the proton (), and, for the , the dependence on the polar decay angle (), are presented. The : cross section ratio is determined. The results are discussed in the light of theoretical models and of the interplay of hard and soft physics processes.
