Inclusive Parton Cross Sections in Photoproduction and Photon Structure
H1 Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper analyzes 2-jet photoproduction events at HERA to extract parton cross sections and determine the gluon distribution within the photon, advancing understanding of photon structure in high-energy collisions.
Contribution
It introduces an unfolding method using leading order correlations to extract parton cross sections and derives the gluon distribution in the photon at specific momentum ranges.
Findings
Gluon distribution in the photon was successfully extracted.
Parton cross sections were obtained from experimental data.
The study provides insights into photon structure at high energies.
Abstract
Photoproduction of 2-jet events is studied with the H1 detector at HERA. Parton cross sections are extracted from the data by an unfolding method using leading order parton-jet correlations of a QCD generator. The gluon distribution in the photon is derived in the fractional momentum range at the average factorization scale GeV.
